Very good basis for the following material

I have studied with several books before but I have found the DVD and audio to be a much better approach since you can get the correct pace and also see how to do the movements right. I have never seen the animal movements before and I was quite skeptical about its usefulness but they proved the be a great initial practice before going deeper inside the body. Thanks!

The only thing I would like to improve in the audio course is he lack of introduction on the subject. Some of audio start with a meditation and only after some time, the introduction to the practice begins. Some words at the beginning would have been great.

I love it, but....

This CD is made for the beginner (like me). I think that all the necessary information is there, but with each CD 80 minutes in length, it's daunting. Beginners do well to sit for 20 minutes or so. I want to do all 80 minutes, but of course I can't! The narration doesn't always flow and seems choppy at times. The 'hmphs' are distracting at times. I would like to see this redone with a series of shorter (20 minutes) guided meditations, where things are a bit more condensed and 'digested'. I hope this critique doesn't take away from the valuable, helpful CD this is.

Michael's comment This is a recording of a LIVE seminar, so that you can feel that kind of group energy and process and tune into it. It's not meant to be a packaged, dry studio recording. If you get impatient sitting, jump up and do some qigong movements periodically. That is what happens in the class, but I don't record those parts, which can make the course seem a bit chappy at times. But I hope folks can get past that to the treasures being offered.
