Star Alchemy (Sealing the Five Body Spirits)

Realize your Original Mind is inside nature's body. At this level, there is less technique, more play in the sound current of empty inner space. We seal our senses, in order to contain and invert the power of the five "jing shen", the body spirits that operate our local consciousness.

We also learn to couple polarity of lesser & greater self in the Crystal Palace or upper cauldron. There we fuse the Four Great Constellations with the qi (chi) of the Center, the purple Pole Star, and its invisible opposite. The Chinese calendar becomes embodied for us: the Ten Celestial Rays & Big Dipper chi that regulates the twelve Terrestrial Branches are brought to a single point of awareness.

We release this inner star light into the spiritual gravity of black holes at the physical level; at the spiritual level, we begin to approach wu ji, the "supreme unknown". How does this apply to ordinary daily human life? We explore Chuang-tzu's notion of wu wei, or "effortless non-doing" in daily life. Living from the "open space" at the center of the Cosmic turning wheel of life.
