The Healing Tao USA Alchemical Vision is:

1. To spread the teaching of the principles of the Tao, the Natural Way, by transmission of a deeply embodied experience of Natural Truth to all humans and any other life forms desiring to experience their Whole, True, Original, and Immortal Self.

2. Healing Tao USA advocates using the spiritual sciences of the Tao for managing the Life Force known in ancient China as 1) chi kung (or qigong, which also includes tai chi chuan, ba gua chuan, and sacred dance) and 2) nei kung (or neigong, which includes inner alchemy and other forms of meditation). These two core branches of movement and meditation evolved to become the classical Eight Branches of the Tao.
Healing Tao USA also supports the other six branches: Tao philosphy - I Ching sciences (cosmology, astrology, numerology, divination), healing/medical arts (acupuncture, deep organ massage, moxa, etc), sexology, feng shui, five element nutrition & herbology, and the fine/expressive chi arts (music, singing, calligraphy, painting, sculpture, and storytelling, which in modern times is theatre & film).
HT USA supports the adaption of these energy arts & sciences and their re-languaging and integration into all aspects of modern western culture: education, art, science, psychology, politics and medicine.

3. To support the physical health and sexual, emotional, mental and spiritual growth of the entire Healing Tao community. This community includes its original founders -- the everpresent Tao Immortals, their modern messengers to the west, including Mantak Chia, the hundreds of instructors, many thousands of students globally, and countless elemental and spiritual beings universally in alignment with the chi flow of the Tao or Natural Whole.
HT USA also supports all other schools, other teachers, other books & videos & products and other approaches to the Tao both in China and in the west that are complementary or supportive of the Healing Tao USA vision.

4. The stages of internal spiritual development supported by HT USA are contained in the classical Seven Alchemical Formulas for Achieving the True or Immortal Self, and their preparatory and supporting practices:

• A. Purification and grounding/centering through various forms of chi kung and nei kung. Examples:
  • •Ocean Breathing to open dan tien,
  • •Five Animal Movements/Six Healing Sounds to purify,
  • •Chi Nei Tsang to detoxify,
  • •Iron Shirt & Internal Chi Breathing & Rooting to ground,
  • •Healing Love to recharge, harmonize, spiritually guide sexual energy,
  • •Tai Chi Chuan, Ba Gua Chuan, other internal martial arts to refine and express outward chi flow using body movement,
  • • Primordial Chi Kung movement ceremony to return chi flow to its Origin in the wu chi (Supreme Unknown).
• B. The Seven Formulas for Achieving the Immortal/True Self merged with the Tao
  • 1a. Inner Smile to radiate Presence of Spirit Body into the Physical BodyMind and the larger body of humanity and nature.
  • 1b. Microcosmic & Macrocosmic Orbit to contain and store chi of Energy Body using a balanced, perpetual yin-yang flow of circulation.
  • 1c. Fusion of the Five Elements/Phases/Processes to harmonize the Five Shen/Intelligences of the personal self (embodied in the Five Vital Organs/Essences/Virtues) into a pearl of original chi and pure, neutral awareness. This pearl activates & regulates the yin-yang pulsation of the Eight Extraordinary Vessels that form the matrix of the Energy Body.
  • 2. Lesser Enlightenment of Kan and Li: the Water and Fire method of Inner Sexual Alchemy to dissolve the personal mind-body split (and its resulting diseases) by coupling and unifying all male and female soul/ego fragments in the Lower Cauldron (personal earth) in the navel center of gravity.
  • 3. Greater Enlightenment of Kan and Li: Sun-Moon alchemy integrates the 5 inner essences of the personal self with the 5 collective forces of the planetary self in the Lower Cauldron (symbolized by planet Earth) at the solar plexus.
  • 4. Greatest Enlightenment of Kan and Li: Soul Alchemy integrates the 5 essences of the personal self and the 5 forces of the collective planetary/Solar system Self (symbolized by the Sun) in the Middle Cauldron at the heart.
  • 5. Star Alchemy: integrates the 5 essences of the personal self with the 5 forces of the collective Stellar Self (symbolized by the Pole Star) in the Upper Cauldron in the head.
  • 6. Heaven and Earth Alchemy: integrates the Early Heaven or unified formless self with the collective Later Heaven physical self. The three cauldrons are re-arranged to stabilize our consciousness in the causal/primordial level where our true multi-dimensional nature is revealed (symbolized by the vortex of an apparent void space in the center of a black hole/torus).
  • 7. Union of Human with the Tao (Natural Whole): the integration of all previous levels of practice into the experience of living in the eternal present moment in all its dimensions. This conscious marriage of the many personal selves with the universal Self is the fullest achievement of the True or Immortal Self.
